We had the opportunity to work with Philosophy on the product launch for their Renewed Hope in a Jar Peeling Mousse Instant Glow Facial Mask.  Philosophy wanted to create a dreamy “staycation” getaway at the William Vale Hotel in Brooklyn, New York.

We had so fun incorporating the natural ingredients!  From the blue of the cornflower extract to the tropical details of the pineapple fruit extract, the ingredients drove our inspiration for the event details.

Bringing a product to life with an experience is truly a special way to stay memorable long after the event is over.  As guests are using the facial mask at home, we hope they remember the dreamy and tropical blue scene that we helped create at the event.

Let’s talk about creative ways to showcase the color of your product. No matchy-matchy or traditional color schemes here!

1. Start with a Pattern to Bring Nuance and Depth

Rather than using all solid prints, find a patterned fabric that uniquely tells a story about your product.  Below, we love that the blue table runner has an earthy feel that instantly transports us to the sea.  The runner is the perfect backdrop for the product packaging.

2. Layer in Details in Different Mediums

Next, we went in big with the blue balloon garland behind the bar.  How to you take it over the top?  Bring in details like florals and fringe in shades of blue. Don’t be afraid to bring in different shades of of the same color, especially in something fun and whimsical like a balloon garland.

3. Bring in Neutrals to Help Colors Pop

The blue room at the William Vale Hotel, with its dreamy blue walls that provoke a cloud-filled sky, was the perfect backdrop for this “blue” launch event.  Yet, what really helped the blue colors pop was the addition of the neutral white in the flowers, plates, and chairs.

4. A Bold Accent Completes the Look

When you are looking for final details, bring in an accent color like gold for that final flourish.  We love these gold, branded drink stirrers by Creative Amme for our blue-themed drinks!

Gold touches in the pineapple cups and name plates bring the whole look together.

We loved bringing to life Philosophy’s new “blue” product.  Until next time, we’ll be dreaming of tropical blue waters and pineapple drinks!
